After graduating in Commerce from Tribhuvan University, Mr. Kiran Khadka started his business in hospital management by identifying the need of patients, availability of health manpower mainly medical doctors, nurses, lab technicians, required equipments and locations as a result of which he holds the position of managing director at the capital’s one well equipped and well managed Meridian Hospital in Bansbari, Kathmandu. He also holds the role of the treasurer of the literary movement named Hamro Abhiyan.
Apart from his business interest, Mr. Khadka got involved in tourism related business for the last several years. As an executive director, he has been involved extensively in financial, compliance and audit affairs with the IGC for over a decade. He leads the cargo business under the IGC, the treasurer’s office of the San Sui Cooperatives Ltd. and that of the Metro Merchant Investment Co. Mr. Khadka believes that a good health care system should be approachable for the needy and the poor, irrespective of his/her nationality, and visiting tourists, as it assures them of health services when required.
